The Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia at U-M is proud of an ongoing research partnership with The Reckoning Project–an international NGO focused on documenting and analyzing war crimes through storytelling and legal accountability. This collaboration was entitled The Reckoning Project @ WCEE. As Principal Investigator, Zubrzycki led a team of U-M students, faculty, and staff, who analyzed over 300 victims’ and witnesses’ testimonies, preserving them in an online archive. The Reckoning Project @ WCEE is also involved in educational efforts, producing two interactive maps based on The Reckoning Project materials, as well as teaching materials for high school instructors and college educators.
